*Close off your business/work
*Lock office door during non-business hours
*Keep family members out of your business area
*Use a modern phone system with voicemail
*Forward calls to you cell phone when out of office
*Dedicated lines for fax & internet
*Get a merchant system provider to accept credit cards
*Paint walls a light neutral color
*Have a dry erase board for schedules
*Get a smoke alarm & fire extinguisher in the room
*Have soft music in the background
*Lock all file cabinets when not in use
*Keep pets out of your business room
*Get a mailbox with street address at a UPS store
*Use a comfortable chair tha rolls & swivels
*Don't let a caller hear any "house" sounds
